Bedford has a rich historical past dating back to 1813, from a bustling stagecoach stop to a manufacturing mecca of chinaware, furniture or heavy construction equipment and home to the Bedford Automile. Today, visitors will not want to miss a walk in Viaduct Park to see the waterfalls; or take a self-guided tour through the Presidential District to see architecturally interesting homes and gardens; or visit Downtown shops and restaurants.
